The “Tummy Tuck” or more clinically applicable abdominoplasty, is a procedure in which excess skin and fat is removed from the patient’s anterior abdominal area.  The surgeon removes skin and fat and in turn, tightens and improves the overall aesthetic appearance of the area.  Careful attention is made to hide scarring low on the bikini line.  The procedure is very popular among post pregnancy women as well as others who have experienced a significant weight reduction.  It is also an effective way to reduce the appearance of stretch marks in the area as well.  Abdominoplasty is not a weight reduction surgery. Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure in which the patients breast is enhanced to achieve a cosmetic or aesthetic result.  Typically this is accomplished using a breast implant.  Implants can be either saline filled or silicone filled and each implant has its own unique characteristics.  There are many ways to perform breast augmentation with regards to the surgical approach and placement of the implant.  We have found through years of surgeries and thousands of patients that patients are most satisfied with an inframammary approach and a submuscular placement of the implants.  Patients post procedure are left with larger more aesthetically appealing breasts.
